The villagers called the village "Bang Khanak" later, there were two monks who used a boat to travel. They did not stay at the temple, but on the boat instead. So the monks have persuaded people to build a temple at the mouth of the Bang Khanak canal and named the temple "Pak Khlong Bang Khanak". ('Pak' and 'Khlong' is 'Mouth' and 'Canal' in Thai)
